Great Americans,

Although the new Guard/Reserve pages aren't quite complete they're mostly up and running.  One of the new features is they now allow for collecting Interview Gouge for each unit.  If you've interviewed with a unit please click on the link at the bottom to add your interview gouge to let others know how it went, tips, etc.  Only your DisplayName will be shown with your gouge and you can change your DisplayName at any time by clicking on your DisplayName in the upper right hand corner of the page.

The 729th and 730th AS are now aboard Globemasters. Same with the 732nd. Just letting you know, as I saw their picture as still flying 141s.

edit:  Changed and added a bunch of info to the two units I interviewed with this year.

One error I see is when I try to change the 171st AS to the 171st ARS, I get the following error:

A critical error has occurred.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

well, I forgot to delete my previous post after I found out that I could change that information myself. I did notice the the 147th FW no longer flies 16s, but now flies the MQ-1 Predator. I didn't see that option to change. Just a heads up.

I see you updated the 174th to the mighty Predator Reaper, huh? It's strange seeing two units on that page flying UAVs now.  It'll be interesting to see how often we update those pages from a Viper unit to a Reaper...  Pretty soon that whole page will be Reapers and heavies...

BD, that error should be fixed by this weekend. I'll try to manually take care of it tonight though. Do you know if Terre Haute has replaced their Vipers with something else?

BD, what unit did you update and add interview gouge to? I'm not seeing it for some reason...

The 171ARS should be good to go now. The error will be fixed this weekend.

Terre Haute is no longer a flying unit. Their pilots all went to Fort Wayne, IN.

I changed some email domains, web site URL's, aircraft types and put some stuff in the "other" category about what the interview process was like this past time. I interviewed at the 910th AW and 171st ARS.

Thanks.

So do we need to delete Terre Haute all together? Do they have any mission (even non-flying?) We'll be updating our Guard/Reserve pages to account for units out there with no flying mission, as well.

There were still some folks out at Terre Haute, but the guy I talked to said they've already lost their aircraft. Not sure how you want to handle that one besides maybe leaving them active in case they'd pick up a C-21 or similar like Battle Creek, MI who are losing their A-10's to Selfridge's F-16 squadron.

I'll be going through there when I have more time and updating lots of recruiting contact info. I have the name/phone/email of about 15 local units since that's who I was applying to this year. Luckily I got picked up on my first and second interview.

Now the dudes know who to thank for the info...  To bad they can't PM booze.  We'll have to get the coders onto that feature...

The 177 FW (NJ) was BRACed from F-16 to F-15C. I don't know how that is going, however.

EDIT:  I see that the 'update' section has the option to make this notification.  I'm going to attempt that with this unit.

Dude, I think you've got some bad poop.. I'm pretty sure Atlantic City is keeping their F-16s. The recommendation for them to get Eagles didn't get approved.
