First timer on this forum, and I have a question I would really like to have answered. I am a cadet in the AFROTC, and I am color blind. Not horribly, but enough to eliminate me from pilot eligibility. Will this also blow my chances of becoming a CRO to hell? I really hope this is not so, because ever since I heard about this career, I have been in love with it. If I literally have no way, and I do mean no way at all, of getting in because I am color blind, please let me know. If this is the case, does anyone know of a comparable job for a luckless color blind soon-to-be 2nd lieutenant in good physical shape who wants to do his duty to his country out in the field? Respond asap please, I am sinking here and I really really don't want to go to a different branch to get a decent field job.
