That does suck.  AMS offered a unique training enviornment that I feel was top-notch. 

Any words on if they will be a separate entity at MAFB, AL, or will they be forever doomed and blended with the kool-aid drinking active duty pukes?

Yes, that sucks really bad. I have been waiting for AMS dates for 3 months. I was hoping that miraculously I would wind up May AMS class, but as it turns out, I'll be in the first ANGOTS class. 

Bright side, I finally got dates and it's only 6 weeks.  

I just got done with my security packet and I am hoping for a class date for October. Does anyone know if contact lenses are allowed? It will be interesting to see how long AMS and OTS remain seperated considering enlisted airmen, either guard are active duty, are trained in the same classes.
