Hey all, So I finally got my PDT base for 14 July to 30 July. I got Mountain Home, AFB, Idaho home of the 366th Fighter Wing..I put in to shadow a fighter pilot or F-15E Nav so I think that's what I got..anybody know anything about it or how it is? Any information would help.

Why did you put down a nav over a pilot? Its no big deal, but I know you were worried about your eyes. Are you so sure your DQ'd from pilot because of it that you put down nav or what? regardless, the WSOs and pilots all party together, so hang with one, your gonna be hanging with them all. Should be a good time. If you were smart, you'd try to get a chamber card stat so that you can hopefully bum a backseat ride while your there. Otherwise, dont count on it as most of their training is performed above 10,000 which requires you to have your card.

Hey fsuafrotc, One of my good buddies from Clemson U went to Mountain Home last summer. If you want to ride backseat you MUST have a chamber card! Out of about 25 cadets who went there for a session, only 1 got a ride because he was the only one who had the card. Plus, there will be a shitload of medical exams you gotta go through before a ride. Don't let it bum you out though cuz you will have a good time, plus you're getting paid!!!

yea I have a PDT *roto* ...its called FT it is what will put me above the rest(Confidence). Just got to get into the Pilot Mode. Hey we'll have to talk to some guys at tyndall on sunday to see if we can set up an appointment to get our chamber cards! I don't know if I told you this but I am friends with a ANG pilot out at J'ville and I am going to see if I can get a ride.

It has got to be Flown, and Flown quickly. So lets get it Flown.
