Yea man fill us in...I bet there was a shit ton of brass at the grad...I was in the second to last and all the staff keep saying how lucky we were that we didn't have to plan and execute the last graduation. It would be fun to hear from a protocol officer or someone in any type of leadership position that last week...talk about a charlie foxtrot.

I know of at least one 4-star (Chief of NGB) and one 3-star (Director ANG) that were at the dinner the night before. I think the Director was there for the parade, etc, but I'm not sure.

Interestingly enough, General McKinley (Chief NGB) spoke at my AMS graduation, at that time, he was still the Director of the ANG.

Gen Mckinley was at our open house and our awards banquet for a little while.  Gen Wyatt was there for open house and was our reviewing officer for the parade.  We had, I believe, 22 general officers (most of them were ams graduates).  It took about 15 minutes for the MC to read off all their names during our federal oath.  It went a lot smoother than I thought although some protocol officers did not sleep for a week!  All in all, it was a good graduation.  I got a great picture of me and my wife with Lt Gen Wyatt.  They fly by was great.  We had two fo them.  Before the parade, a retired Lt Col flew over in a P-51 and then after the parade, 4 F-16's flew over.

Cool -- congrats. McGhee Tyson isn't a bad place to visit (post AMS!). Glad you had a good time. Poor bastards that will have to go to Maxwell have no idea how good we had it in KnoxVegas.

Merlin, congrats! Shit Hot on the pics, the flyby, and the rear view mirror. What's next for you?

KnoxVegas. Haha...you mean Academy East Side...EASSST SIIDEEE! Make sure you tell a USAFA grad that you went to the Academy too. You'll be the last class that can say you went to the Academy East and were so high speed you graduated in 6 weeks instead of 4 years.

Yeah, the flyby was awesome and the brass was crazy.  Next for me is working in Force Support.  No commander right now so I am acting commander for my first drill.  When they select the new commander, I will either become the XO or OIC of Persco or Customer Support.  Wanting eventually to get back over to Security Forces and be their commander.
