Hey all,

    Not sure if anyone has experience with it, but when should i follow up with the unit im applying to?  I applied to the 177th fighter wing (ANG) and havent heard anything.  The board meets from March 8 -9.  Should i even call or write them about my status?  How long does it usually take for them to let you know if youve been chosen for an interview?  Week before, two weeks before?   Any ideas?  Thanks

From my experience, most units will contact you 1 month - 2 weeks in front of the board date to allow you to make travel plans. There's no harm to call or email to check on the status of your packet (but do that knowing the ROE... If on their website they said results for interviews would be emailed/mailed at such date, don't harass them in bad form).
