Howdy,

Just found out that I will be going to Sheppard on 21 Jun 09 to start ENJJPT.  Anyone else going to be starting around then? Also, any ideas/news as far as EAD dates for this timeframe? One more thing, an IP told me they are still flying the Tweet up there (yee-haw...). Will that be completely phased-out by June 09? Feel free to PM me if you want.

Gig 'em.

Well I'll be graduating a few weeks before then. I start in a couple weeks and finish the end of May 09. Hit me up before you get down there and I'll pass along whatever gouge I've got. I do know that you won't be flying the tweet. First T-6 class kicks off in August of this year and it will be a split class so I'm told. By June of 09 it'll be all T-6 I believe. I don't know shit about EAD stuff 'cause I'm a Guard dude.

Awesome. Well, they just told me I don't EAD until 6 months after I pin on. Looks like I'll be sackin groceries until then. Hey, at least it'll give me some time to look over the T-6 boldface and ops limits. Thanks for the info!

09-07 = T-6
09-08 = T-37
10-01 = T-6
10-02 = T-37
10-03 and on will all be T-6

from what I heard from another website

I should know this but just to check what do the standard "09-03 or 10-03" class dates mean. Am I correct that it is the graduation date of the class and the first number is the year and the last number is the month? Just trying to get an idea of how start dates would correlate with class dates. If I am right...which doesn't happen all the time...starting with classes starting in Mar of 09 everyone would be in T-6s...someone please confirm or correct...

So 09-03 means the class graduates in fiscal year 2009 and the 03 means it is the third class of that fiscal year.

So how often do classes start? Is there one that starts every month or is it just a guessing game as to what classes correlate to which calendar start dates? Or maybe it's not a big enough of a deal to even worry about...

Hey everyone,

So since you are all talking about ENJJPT I'm assuming that you are all pilots or atleast selected. I'm applying for this upcoming OTS boar, October 2008, and am a little concerned. I got a 94 Pilot score and 90 Nav score. But, my TBAS was only a 54. Do I still have a good opportunity of getting a spot? I am also a MI ANG member with an outstanding record and good LOR. I have community service and a good GPA. I'm hoping the fact that I am "well-rounded" may make up for my not-so-great TBAS score. Also I have no pilot license or any hours. My recruiter is pushing for me to put Nav down as a #2 choice but I really don't want to do that quite yet? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot guys.

-Dave
