Wondering if anyone could help....

I recently went down to Brooks for FC1 and passed everything except for color vision.  I missed a couple on the initial book tests and then they send you downstairs for further testing. They then give you an anomaloscope test which according to them, I failed as well. I think I did the test wrong, the intstuctions werent the most clear looking back at it.  Therefore I am DQ'd for life from aviation from the Air Force.  Talk about high highs of getting selected for UPT and then low lows of getting shot down.

After the fact I took two different CV tests at my unit and I passed both of them.  My eye doctor at the base said their diagnosis doesnt make sense and he can't explain what happened down there.  The questions I have are: Has anyone been in this situation?  Also does anyone know of a civilian doctor that has an anomaloscope that does extensive color vision testing?  We are compiling data to try to get retested.  Thank you in advance.

The air force vision test is much more strict. If you cant read what they have there, then there's not much you can do regardless of understanding the instructions or not. I'm not sure there's any way to get that test over. Overriding a DQ is hard to impossible from what I have heard. Good luck though!
