Just found out that I will be doing Casual at Dover AFB in lovely Deleware.(Bangs head on Wall) Seeing as I live in MD currently it is only a 2 hr drive to get to the base. I am heading there with my buddy who is also going there for casual...lucky us ....Is there anybody out there currently living there or been there that can share any and all info about the place?? I basically know its a C-5 base and its not too far from the beaches. Suggestions on flight schools to do IFT at?? Since it is such a close drive we are going up this Sunday 10 April, to scout that place out and look for a place to live. Anybody thats out there who wouldnt mind showing a few strangers around the base maybe?? We are ROTC guys graduating in May and heading there a short while after that so will be there in a few months. Any help is Appreciated! Thanks!

I had a friend that was casual at Dover and absolutely hated it. The only good thing about it was that he would go on vacation everytime the C-5 went somewhere cool. I know he spent a week in Germany and a few days in Hawaii, and probably a few more places. Pretty cheap way to travel, enjoy Deleware!!!
