To all the crackpot thumping racist nutjobs out there....I have a confession to make. Obama really is a Muslim. All of us Obama supporters have known it the whole time.

I can't wait to hear about how McCain actually never did like Palin... I wonder how long it will be before he brings that up. He should have never listened to whoever told him to put her on the ticket. McCain could have won this election.

So yeah, here we are. First African American president in the history of the USA. How about it?

While it had nothing to do with me voting for the man, I'm happy to see it. I'm very happy for the older black folks that lived through the civil rights struggle. Back when the hateful and ignorant did much worse than spread lies about somebody being a muslim. I'm glad for them because now they can see something very good happen as a result of their struggles and sacrifices and of those that gave their lives for equality.

I'm very proud of my country tonight for the first time in many years. This is a geat night for America!

What a great speech. President Obama is a class act.

Well, what a night. I can't say I voted/agree with Obama, but hell I didn't vote for McCain either. Bob Barr wasn't going to win anything, but damn do I like some of his ideals. I think it will be interesting to see if the Republican Party can re-invent itself and get back to its roots in the next four years. I'm tired of neo-conservatives calling themselves Republicans when they don't stand for much of what the old party used to. Who knows, maybe my guy, Ron Paul, will shake things up again in four years (although I doubt he will ever win).

Colin Powell expressed exactly why I couldn't vote for McCain. His campaign seemed to implode. I do not think that McCain supported, by any means, the cheap and dirty tricks that some of his supporters participated in. The part of the enorsement of "why is it wrong to be Muslim" explained why I couldn't support someone who was voted in by that ignorant portion of the population.

Although I don't agree with Obama, I will say that he ran a clean race, and legitimately worked hard for his votes. I hope he is what he claims to be; a uniter willing to reach across party lines to get the job done. I hope for this, but my experience with politics tells me differently. I hope I am wrong and he doesn't end up to polorizing the country like the Republicans have. I guess only time will tell.
