I know this is AF forum and everything, but this is not against the AF in anyway. Is there anything wrong with being involved in both AFROTC and NROTC your first semester to see which one you fit in with best? I don't want to piss off any CO's if at all possible.

nothing wrong with it for sure, but whether it's allowed or not, I do not know... Due to scheduling and such it may not be practical. Perhaps 1 semester doing one, the next semester doing the other, to see which you like best...

We had a girl in our detachment who did the AF and Army ROTC. I don't think it worked out well for her...she missed a lot of AF functions and I think the commander didn't like that she missed those. I'm pretty sure it's allowed, since you're not in the military yet, but it sure would be difficult at best.
