I saw this application page http://www.beale.af.mil/1rs/intervi...p but I'm wondering if anyone on here has flown the U-2 or knows anything about it. Do you have to be a fighter guy to go there? Is it hard to get the job?

I'm not a U2 pilot, but from what I've read and heard, you do have to be a former fighter pilot, and it's very difficult job to get, it's highly secretive and they usually go for the older married guys (family history, wife, kids, shows maturity).

You do not have to be an ex-fighter. Not even a T-38 background.
