Does anybody know about this group of military veterans and police officers called Oath Keepers?  You can check their website at: www.oathkeepers.org - they are founded by an ex-paratrooper who graduated from Yale Law School (no small deal) named Stewart Rhodes.  He was on Hard Ball with Chris Matthews today where he got double liberal-banged: http://video.aol.co.uk/video-detail...4087062855

The premise is reaffirming an oath to the Constitution and disobeying unlawful orders to disarm Americans, intern them in camps, etc etc.

Some say they are a militia right wing conspiracy theory fueled group that is arming for a second revolution. They say they only want to ensure armed people (military and police) don't turn against the people and instead disobey unlawful orders.

I called Mr. Rhodes last night and talked with him for about ten minutes.  I've seen his website and I saw the interview on MSNBC and so far I agree with him.  I'm hesitant because I haven't research the Oath Keepers completely but so far I'm very intrigued.  Anybody got any good info on them?

Yeah, it was only like ten minutes long. I did some research and found his number online and gave him a call. I asked him if he had time to talk about his organization. He gave me a run down on it and said members didn't have to agree with everything and tried to make it sound inclusive and diverse. I asked him about a comment made by one of his moderators on his site saying the Constitution protects freedom of religion and not freedom from religion and asked if he agreed...he kind of side stepped it a bit but mentioned they have a Wiccan as an official in their organization. He said he'd be on Hard Ball the next day. That's about all I remember. And he wondered how I found his phone number. But he was cool on the phone and humble when I complimented him on Yale Law School.

If the organization's goals are limited to those on their website then I'd be all for it. I'm not sure if that's the case or not. I am intrigued but cautious.
