I just pre-ordered my 32 GB 3G S yesterday from the AT&T website. It's a bit of a bitch from over in England, since all my credit cards have my soon-to-be-closed APO as my billing address.

It's my first smartphone, but I've owned an iPod Touch 2G for a year and absolutely dig it.

The timing on this is perfect for me -- I've been thinking about an iPhone for a while, and since I'm moving back to the states it was time to get myself on a plan anyway. The release of the 3G S is happening PRECISELY when I need it to!

Damn Hacker, going for the glory with the 32GB! You and Ryno must like rack and stacking that porno collection and all the soundtracks with that much space! Got any good app suggestions given your time with the you iPod Touch?

I have about 17 GB of music in my iTunes (it's about 3,000 songs), so I at least wanted to be able to have all that (I'm giving my Touch to my wife, if you will), so the 16GB wouldn't cut it.

My favorite app is pretty geeky - Gas Cubby, which is all about car costs and mileage.
