Hello everyone.  I have my pilot slot and am slotted to comission in Apr of '07.

I'm waiting to hear whether or not I was selected for ENJJPT or not as I applied for that also.

Can anyone answer whether an OM of 94.5-96.4 would or would not typically land me an ENJJPT slot?

Thanks guys!

Hey,

Congrats on your pilot slot. You should drop your info into the site (go to the main page, you'll see where it asks).

I don't know much about how the whole ROTC process works, but from what I've read, an OM that high is pretty good. Let us know when you find out (there's not much you can do now to change your chances... just don't go get drunk somewhere and do something stupid).

Consur with Quatro. I think you've probably got it in the bag with that OM.

You should PM FlyinNoose on this board about that question.

Thanks guys.    I did try to add my stats a few days ago.  However, I don't have my AFOQT scores on hand and only remember the pilot and nav scores (it doesn't let you submit your data unless all of the fields have been completed).

Also, don't worry, I'm staying out of trouble!

Well that's all for now!  I'll keep you updated and will most likely try to get in contact with this FlyinNoose that you speak of .  Keep flyin'!

Actually that's just for looking up your PCSM and your AFOQT Pilot score.

To look up the rest of your AFOQT component scores click here

Ryno,

Thanks!

I was actually thinking of asking about that as I knew that you could access them online (which is how I found out my scores originally).

I will add my data to the database in the next day.

Just curious, how do they choose guys for ENJJPT? and whats OM? I just got the call last week that I got the F-16 slot out of Tucson ANG so I am excited as hell, my PCSM is 99 and pilot/nav is 96/86. Does it make a difference that I'm Guard?

Your unit should be able to tell you where you will go to UPT. It really won't matter since you already know that you will track T-38.

You can ask them to relay the info up to the NGB, but that may not matter in the end. What matters is getting to UPT as soon as you can so you can get back to the unit. Not a big deal for Guard guys since you know where you'll go anyway.

Man you are lucky...

I'm class of 07 at the Academy right now, and I just found out yesterday I start ENJJPT 21 Jul 08.

It's awesome I got a slot, but that's a long time to wait to get started with things...

Congrats on the slot.

And...yeah, wow. That is a long time to have to wait. When do you comission? That has to be about a full 12 months that you'll be waiting? Do you have your PPL? Because still having to do IFT or some sort of equivalent would keep you from being able to start ENJJPT training almost right after you comission.

Good luck!

Well we commission (and graduate!) 30 May 07, so that's not long after you.  I've finished AFS (Academy Flight Screening), so I am completely cleared to go to UPT.  I guess ENJJPT slots are just really backed up for Academy guys... From what I've heard from my buds the guys at the very tip top of the class still have to wait til March 08 to start there.

Oh well... I think I'm gonna spend casual at Luke AFB at see how many Viper sandbags I can get in 12 months.    Anyone have any good thoughts on that..?

I got that start date as well...do any other UPT classes start that day?  I heard that the other three (Laughlin, Vance, Columbus) share start dates but Sheppard has it's own, and the only other people I know who have 21 Jul 08 are really high ranked in the class.  So it leads me to believe...ENJJPT maybe?  How'd you know for sure its ENJJPT?  Just really eager to try to figure out where I'm going...

Well, I called up the bases and found out when their start dates were...

ENJJPT has a class starting 23 Jul 08 (a Wednesday), so it makes perfect sense that we have a 21 Jul 08 report date (a Monday).   Laughlin and Columbus had dates of Jul 9 and Jul 17, so neither of those are it.  I'm 21 overall in the class, so I'm pretty sure I didn't get lower than my 3rd choice.

Basically, we're goin to ENJJPT dude.    What squad you in?   29 here...

haha that's awesome, I never thought I'd get it, I'm ranked way outside of the group that typically goes!  I'm in CS-21.

Now it's just a matter of waiting the 600-odd days until then...

Yeah... what'd you put for casual?  I put in Luke since my old AOC seemed to think I could get tons of Viper rides and learn a lot.  Plus ASU is right there...    Second choice is Eglin, those beaches look pretty tempting.  It'll suck waiting that long, but what can you do.
