I was looking at the AFROTCI 36-2013, and noticed the section about ENJJPT and JSUNT. Is JSUNT an old program that is no longer used or is it a new one? According to the document the results for it should have come out at the same time as ENJJPT. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks!

 Here is some of what the document said;

1.4.7. Last week of September: Categorization continuation process and Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) and Joint Strike Under-Graduate CSO Training (JSUNT) selection process completed.

1.4.8. First week in October: Categorization continuation process and ENJJPT/JSUNT results released.

Check the date on that document. I know a few years back (4+) strike nav's were selected at a board based on you scores. I believe it switched to a UPT-style track select, where you have to dominate the first portion of your nav course to land a strike slot. This is just word of mouth, so a nav at randolph/pensacola might need to confirm.

I bet you are right; the date of the doc is 2007. I wonder why they don't update the doc if they don’t have the program anymore? And I wonder why they still have you volunteer for it just like ENJJPT?

Did you go for it? I know we had a guy a year or two ago who got Strike Nav (thats what we call it). He didn't put in for pilot b/c he knew his OoM would land him a pilot slot, he really wanted that strike nav. It was released the same time as ENJJPT at the time.

You bet I did! I talked to my cadre and they said they would check but that was several weeks ago now, about when ENJJPT results came out.
