After several years we have finally released the beta version of the ChairFly Academy "Procedural Simulator" software.  What started as a quickly thrown together concept idea in 2003 has grown to become the premiere training aid for military pilot training procedural preparation.  This software has been developed to allow online communities to create their own virtual pilot training bases flying the T-6 Texan II JPATS.  Each community can have its own Virtual Instructor Pilots (vIPs), Virtual Check Pilots (vEPs), and Virtual Students Pilots (vSPs).  Online courseware is easily created and provided, classes can be  taught online in a participative multimedia environment, and briefings and debriefings are conducted.  The best feature is the utility of the software allowing for interactive instruction and flight in a dynamic online environment with a vIP and vSP in the same aircraft, online Runway Supervisory Unit (RSU) & Air Traffic Control (ATC) controllers, and other aircraft in a real time environment using headset with microphone and a high speed internet connection.  Each community can provide amazing preparation for actual military flight training.
